Freud
Challenge
Freud is the editorial work for an ISTD publication of world-renowned psychologist Sigmund Freud. The publication was to reflect on Freud’s Contemporary, Radical, and Complex thinking that brought us the famous “The Interpretation of Dreams”. Despite the fact that this book changed the world's view on psychology, Sigmund was a very insecure and lonely individual.

Design
The editorial design for this book was heavily inspired by Freud’s isolation and intelligence he had at a time when such thinking was not even present, it was important to use large amounts of white space, segregated text columns and a minimal design aesthetic which is why a modular grid system was used keeping text boxes restrained and have a large amount of flexibility for creativity.

Result
The publication is to attract young adults as it was felt that today, young adults are more inquisitive and challenging of previous ideas and aspects of cultures who use independent thinking in understanding 21st-century practices. The final publication is a magazine format as this was the best solution to attract a younger audience and a platform of the other side of Sigmund Freud.
